POSITION SUMMARY
The position of a Junior Front-end Developer provides creative and technical expertise to implement high impacting solutions. The ideal candidate has strong aptitude to deliver results, meeting deadlines and creating high quality out of the box technical solutions. This is a hands-on development role and will provide an opportunity to work with modern technology stack including AngularJS, RESTful Webservices, event-based architecture, etc. The developer will work in a very collaborative and open environment; will closely work with developers, architects, management and other stakeholders across the organization to deliver best in class solutions.
Job Description:
6-months to 3-years of experience software development experience
Hands-on experience developing Web applications
Experience in UX design principles such as Responsive Design and Mobile First
Strong JavaScript knowledge, including best practices in prototyping and object/model creation, as well as building services and methods that call RESTful endpoints
Expert in Web Application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with REST and JSON
Strong understanding of object oriented design and MVC patterns
Experience in designing and implementing Web Applications using Angular.js or
Backbone.js is preferred (not mandatory)
Experience with CSS preprocessing such as SASS or LESS is preferred (not mandatory)
